Cell phones and planes don’t mix.

After reading this article, I’m quite happy with the decision. If people were allowed to use their cell phones on a plane, it would get annoying quickly. Imagine ~ 300 passengers all talking on their cell phones at once. The amount of inane chatter would be enough to drive anyone crazy.
The best way to fly is with dead silence, and everyone politely ignoring the fact they are crammed into a pressurized tube.
Amen to that! I honestly believe that if cellphone use was permitted on airplanes, you’d see the first of many in-flight homicides as a result. It’s bad enough dealing with people yammering away on those things in the boarding area.
