Some Assembly Required
Dec 5th, 2006 by darryl
Tonight, I spent about an hour and a half cleaning up the basement, and assembling a recumbent bike which I purchased last night. The assembly took a bit of time, but it went pretty smoothly. The install guide was one of the better ones that I have seen. They colour coded the sections in the guide, and had matching bags of hardware. So if you were completing step one, which was orange, the hardware you require is in the bag with the orange sticker. They however could have taken it a step further and had the bolt holes marked in the same colour.
However, now I have a bike and a tv with a dvd player in the basement to keep me exercising, and entertained at the same time. Also, it gives me a good place to hide from Kristin after I have done something to annoy her. ![]()
Now you need to hook one of those many Xbox’s up to that TV rig and play games on the bike. You can justify game time with exercise time.
I move the first gen xbox to the basement to watch tv while on the bike. I could also play games while riding the bike.
Hook up a Wii, then you can swing your arms like a maniac while you ride your bike.
